Sizing bucket hats, dad hats and 5-panels for a group order
Most hats on this site are one size. Decky bucket hats are not. This guide tells you how to split an order so nobody ends up with a hat that does not fit, and what Battle Born Clothing needs on the quote.

Splitting a bucket hat order
For a mixed adult group with no size data, a 60/40 split of L/XL to S/M covers most crews; for a group with many women or teens, flip it to 40/60. For campers under about 14, order all S/M. If you can collect sizes, do: a head measurement of 22 inches or less is S/M, above that is L/XL.

OSFA and big heads
A strap dad hat or a snapback five-panel fits most adults. Richardson makes an XL version of the six-panel 112 trucker; if you have a crew of large hat sizes and want a five-panel, ask on the quote and we will suggest the best option in stock.
Does size change the price?
No. S/M and L/XL of the same Decky style carry the same blank price and the same decoration price, and both sizes count toward one quantity tier. A 144-piece order split 60 S/M and 84 L/XL is still $5.00 per hat for decoration.
Questions
Can I change the size split after the quote?
Yes, up to proof approval, as long as the blanks are in stock. After we order blanks, changes are quoted.
Do you have youth dad hats?
Not as a stocked default on this site. Ask on the quote form; S/M Decky buckets cover most youth needs.
