The Decky 961 is the bucket hat most of our orders start with. Relaxed polo-twill crown, stitched brim, fitted sizes, and a front panel that takes a logo cleanly. Battle Born Clothing buys Decky direct and decorates it in-house.

Blank quoted per job; embroidery from $5.00 per hat at 144

- **Brim:** Stitched, soft

## Decoration options

- Flat embroidery on the front, up to 6,000 stitches (standard).
- Laser-engraved leather patch, glued with our heat process, or sewn on for $1 more per hat.
- Patch on the front plus a small embroidered side hit (second design, quoted per design).
- 3D puff embroidery on structured 5-panels only (quoted per job).

## Why the 961 leads our bucket hat orders

It is the plain, comfortable bucket people actually wear: no stiff crown, no shiny finish, a brim that folds into a pocket. The front panel is wide enough for a 2.5-inch logo and the fabric holds embroidery without puckering once it is hooped on a backing. We buy it direct from Decky, so colors that are not in a SanMar warehouse are still reachable.

## Best uses

- Festival and event staff hats where sun matters more than structure.
- Brewery, surf and fishing merch that sells at the counter.
- Camp and school sun hats in fitted sizes.
- Resort pool, beach and tour-guide staff.

## Pricing and ordering

Embroidery runs $7.00 per hat at 24, $6.50 at 48 and $5.00 at 144, plus $18.99 one-time digitizing. A laser-engraved leather patch runs $7.50 at 24, $7.00 at 48 and $5.00 at 144 with no setup fee. Blank hat pricing on this style is quoted per job, usually the same business day. Decoration is fixed: see the tables on [pricing](/pricing/).
